Terms and Conditions

Account Registration and Personal Data

By registering for an online account with MusicTag, you agree that you are happy for your submitted details to be stored and used by MusicTag for the purposes of including you on the UK Musical Instrument Register.

You understand that your details will not passed on or sold to any other third party without your prior knowledge and consent.

Registration with MusicTag is only available to UK residents.

Instrument Registration

Once you have registered a musical instrument with MusicTag, your instrument details will be stored and used by MusicTag for the purposes of including your instrument on the UK Musical Instrument Register.

Upon receipt of payment, you will be issued with a MusicTag registration certificate and lost sticker for each registered instrument within 10 working days.

Multiple registration discounts are only available when multiple instruments are registered and paid for simultaneously.

Certificates

If any of the information on a MusicTag certificate is incorrect, you must inform us within 10 working days of receipt of the certificate. If your submitted details were incorrect when you registered your instrument, an administration fee will be applied to issue a replacement certificate. If your submitted details were correct but the certificate is incorrect, MusicTag will re-issue a replacement certificate free of charge.

Certificates are non-transferable. All certificates should be kept in a safe place and separate from your musical instrument(s).

Change of Details

If your name or registered address changes, you will need to apply for a replacement certificate, to ensure you can be contacted should your instrument become lost or stolen. An administration fee will be applied should a replacement certificate be issued. Certificates and tag numbers are only valid when correct personal details have been supplied.

Your Account

It is your responsibility to keep your account details up-to-date and to ensure your instrument status is correct at all times. Should you lose or sell your instrument, you must update your account details accordingly. Failure to update your details may result in your certificate and tag number becoming invalid.

Cancellations

You have the right to cancel any MusicTag registration under the Distance Selling Directive. You can do so provided you inform us of this decision within 10 days of receiving your registration documents. The registration documents must be returned to us at your own expense within 28 days of informing us of your decision to cancel. The documents must be undamaged and unused. As the registration documents are personalised items, we are unable to offer a refund for cancellations.

We reserve the right to refuse our services to any prospective client.

THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.
