Selling a Musical Instrument
Are you thinking about selling your musical instrument? If so, you may find that potential buyers will ask you about the details of your instrument before they buy. This is perfectly normal and should be encouraged (see our Buying guide for details).
If you have your instrument registered with MusicTag, it is essential that you update your instrument's status in your account before you attempt to sell. If your instrument isn't marked "for sale", potential buyers may think you are trying to sell a stolen instrument.
Once you have sold your instrument, you should destroy your certificate and mark your instrument as "sold" in your account.
